Welcome to our web site!
The Rappahannock Valley Civil War Round Table was founded as an organization open to all people interested in learning about the Civil War and in preserving the hallowed ground where the soldiers fought. We meet on the second Monday of each month. Our website includes information about the round table's next program, a review of the previous program, a calendar of upcoming events, a complete listing of all past programs and tours and links to other Civil War and preservation websites. Check out our monthly newsletter.
The Rappahannock Valley Civil War Round Table is a tax-exempt
organization as described in the Internal Revenue Code, Section
501(c)3.

OFFICERS FOR
2009
At the January meeting, the membership
will vote on a slate of names to serve as officers and executive
committee members for the upcoming year. President Marc Thompson
has asked Scott Walker to serve as chair of a nominating committee
to develop a proposed slate of officers. Scott is seeking input from
all members about the role and the slate of people to serve in those
positions.
Both Marc and Scott want to emphasize that, although a slate will be
presented as a report of this committee, nominations will be
accepted from the floor during the meeting in January.
If you have comments or suggestions about who should be approached
to be an officer or if you would like to volunteer, please contact
member Scott Walker by phone [(540)809-3918] or E-mail (gscottwalker@hotmail.com).
Tredegar Iron Works will
host a seminar next March entitled "Lincoln and the South." For more
